Join us for the annual SRES Heart Healthy Fun Run on
Wednesday, Feb. 11, at
Salt River Elementary School! Warm-ups and stretching begin around 8:45AM in the SRES courtyard. Running, jogging, walking, and rolling along Highland Avenue begins at
9AM!
We are excited to welcome special guest Deanna Scabby, a member of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Tribal Council & Salt River Schools Education Board! Mrs. Scabby will lead participants in warm-up exercises using her best dance moves!
Special thanks to Community Recreational Services for always supplying the SRES Fun Runs with water!
NEIGHBORHOOD REMINDER
During the Fun Run, the Salt River Police Department will close off Highland Avenue from Center Street to Country Club Drive. Education staff, student families, and Community members are invited to cheer on the runners along Highland Avenue!
