UPDATE 2/4/21: SRES ran out of desks to giveaway. We did not expect the turnout (on the first day!) or the need; however, we know this is something even non-SRES families need and will be working with the Community and surrounding school districts to come up with a new way to get desks to students who need them. For Salt River Elementary School students only: Desk & Chair Giveaway

Help your student succeed with learning at home by creating a space similar to what they'd experience at school. Pick up a desk and chair (one, the other, or both!) for your student on the dates listed below. The equipment is adjustable to fit students in grades K-6. Desks weigh roughly 18 pounds; both the desk and chair will fit comfortably in the backseat of the average car.

Distribution Dates

• Thursday, Feb. 4, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Friday, Feb. 5, from 8 a.m. to noon
• Monday, Feb. 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Equipment will be distributed from the front office (Center Street entrance); please stay in your vehicle and wear a face mask.
